I, the great “The Baconeator” will not be outdone! More posts are needed to make this site come alive! On that note, I have submitted the prelude to The Transmigrator, a work in progress. The idea came to me in a flash one day after reading Wildseed by Octavia Butler, one of the greatest science fiction writers of our time (Science rest her soul.) In Wildseed, the character Doro can transmigrate at will, leaving one body and entering another, consuming the intellect/soul/life-energy of the victim in an instant, then wearing that person’s body as his own. In the real world I have been reading about technological advances that point toward humans gaining the ability to download consciousness from flesh to machine. While this may never actually work (although it would be completely badass) I thought the first human trial and results thereof would be an interesting and entertaining story for the masses. Especially those masses who have grown to love the word of the Baconeator. Read or Die!

Interesting. What if you could download your brain as a lump download (mystery still intact), without knowing how to access all of it? What if your download got mixed up, slightly, with someone else’s data?
